Abstract
The issue of the valuation of contaminated land was explored 10 years ago by the author. Since then, there have been new developments in the technology of decontamination and changes in people's risk perception over time. Due to the shortage of land supply, more rural land and former industrial sites are converted to commercial and residential uses than before. There is a need to carry out new research to see how contaminated land is valued in Australia today. The survey reveals a number of findings including that the use of the unaffected valuation approach is still dominant in Australia.Download Full Article
