Bio:

Neville Hurst lectures in property studies at RMIT University, Victoria, Australia. Although Neville originally trained as an electrical engineer, he has worked extensively in the property industry for the past 40 years as a practitioner and academic. His research interest focuses on real estate industry practices, valuation practices, housing markets and in particular energy efficient housing. More recently Neville has become part of a research group investigating Intelligent transport systems and urban development and has published in the field. Neville's PhD investigated real estate agent attitudes and engagement with energy efficient housing and he continues his work in this important area.
